These are two types of paid Amazon subscription service that let you borrow audiobooks.

get one audiobook per month (they all disappear if you stop subscribing)

get one audiobook per month to keep forever
get full access to the Audible catalog
IMO, if you would normally be inclined to buy one audiobook a month at the regular price of $20-$40, paying $15/month to get one audiobook PLUS access to the entire catalog seems like a great deal!
Is the Audible catalog any good?
It has “over a million titles”, including Audible Originals, audiobooks, and podcasts.
Sure, there’s lots of stuff you’re not going to care about, but there’s a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction available, including popular series like Harry Potter, popular authors like Dean Koontz, children’s authors like Roald Dahl, award-winning literary fiction like Life of Pi, and modern classics like 1984. Plus, you can read any of the 200+ AmazonClassics audiobooks (usual price, $2 to $30 each).
